Senior Automation Quality Assurance Director

We are seeking a seasoned quality assurance leader to head our QA team and drive automation-first quality practices across our global product development lifecycle. This role is ideal for someone with proven experience in automation frameworks, process governance, team management, and agile delivery.
This position offers the opportunity to build and scale a high-performing QA team, driving quality excellence and efficiency across multiple environments, geographies, and mobile platforms. The successful candidate will own the testing strategy, guide senior and junior QA engineers, and work closely with product, development, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and high-performing applications.
The ideal candidate has at least 6+ years of experience in automation testing and 3+ years in team leadership/management. They possess deep expertise in WebdriverIO, TypeScript, Cucumber, Jenkins, npm, GitLab CI/CD, and have a proven track record of setting up and scaling QA automation frameworks for enterprise applications.
The key responsibilities include defining and leading QA strategy, managing and mentoring a team of QA engineers, architecting enterprise-level automation solutions, standardizing automation frameworks, collaborating with Scrum Masters, Product Owners, Developers, and DevOps, and driving CI/CD integration of automation pipelines. The successful candidate must also oversee test execution across multi-environment setups, establish test governance, defect triage processes, and release sign-off procedures.
