Job Title: Chief Manager

We are seeking an experienced Instrumentation Engineer to lead the design and engineering of instrumentation aspects for our projects. This role involves overseeing the development of technical specifications, collaborating with suppliers, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Main Responsibilities:
• Design instruments in process installations
• Specify instruments (technical specifications and/or datasheets)
• Develop instrument lists and IO lists relative to a project
• Contact suppliers to ensure technical comparison of offers and discussions
• Determine different scenarios based on process parameters
• Deliver input for technical specifications after design optimization
• Conduct risk analysis and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study)
• Revise parameters based on supplier feedback and internal calculations
• Assess compliance with applicable safety and quality standards
• Participate in commissioning procedures
• Follow up on suppliers, including receipt of material
• Participate in Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT)
• Develop engineering processes and templates for the team

Requirements:
• Engineering degree in I&C (Instrumentation & Control) or electrical field
• Minimum 15 years experience in process design and engineering in an industrial environment
• Experience in Oil & Gas or Energy sector is an asset
• Proficient in process control, measurement principles, control valves, transmitters, analyzers, and other relevant instruments
• Knowledge of functional safety, electromagnetic compatibility, explosive atmosphere, API, and strong personality
• Fluent in English and French, proficient in MS Office, Teams, and SharePoint
