Backend Developer & Instructor Role

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Backend Developer with strong teaching skills to join our team as an instructor. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mentoring students and guiding them in the latest backend technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop expertise in Node.js, Express.js, Databases, APIs, or MERN stack to support academic and project-based learning.
  • Contribute to designing, reviewing, and refining backend curriculum and learning materials to reflect real-world practices.
  • Provide hands-on mentorship to students during labs and backend projects, helping them debug, optimize, and scale applications.
  • Collaborate with faculty members and teams to align curriculum with industry needs.
  • Guide students on backend best practices, coding standards, and industry career paths.
  • Stay updated with backend technologies and bring industry insights into the classroom.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 4-10 years of professional experience as a Software Developer/Engineer with a focus on Backend Development (preferably MERN stack).
  • Proficiency in Node.js, Express.js, Databases (SQL/NoSQL), and API design.
  • Solid understanding of backend fundamentals such as RESTful APIs, authentication, server-side logic, and performance optimization.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Passion for knowledge-sharing, mentoring, and guiding students.

Good-to-Have:

  • Prior mentoring, corporate training, or teaching experience.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching tools and methodologies.
  • Exposure to system design and scalable backend architectures.
