System Engineering Team Leader

Design and Implement MV AIS Systems

  • Develop system designs and application engineering for Medium Voltage (MV) Automatic Integrated Switchgear (AIS) panels.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Review technical specifications from sales teams.
  • Creation of detailed engineering drawings including General Arrangement (GA), Schematic, and other relevant documents.
  • Secure customer approval for engineering drawings, including attending meetings with customers or consultants as necessary.
  • Coordinate with order managers, mechanical design teams, logistics, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of Medium Voltage power distribution systems and AIS panels.
  • Understanding of IS/IEC standards applicable to MV systems.
  • Hands-on experience with AutoCAD, ELCAD, Promis, and other relevant software tools.
  • Knowledge of protection philosophy and control philosophy of substations.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to interact independently with clients for technical discussions.
  • Experience working with major engineering consultancies like EIL, TCE, AECOM, Toyo, Mecon, and others.
  • Education: B.E. / Diploma in Electrical Engineering with a minimum of 4-5 years of experience.
