We are seeking a highly skilled Software Technologist I – Full Stack Development Engineer to join our team.

Job Description

As a Senior Software Technologist I, you will be responsible for leading the development of full-stack applications using Java. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement software solutions that meet our customers' needs. Your role will involve integrating software components, conducting code reviews, analyzing and optimizing application performance, and staying current with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a technical coach for a team or domain, being recognized and approached by team members for expertise and guidance.
  • Integrate software components and third-party libraries into existing systems, ensuring seamless functionality and interoperability with minimal disruption.
  • Conduct and participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices to maintain code quality.
  • Analyze and optimize application performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks to enhance user experience and system efficiency, ensuring the software meets performance benchmarks.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, incorporating new tools and methodologies to improve development processes and product quality.
  • Develop software to log and store performance data, usage, errors, etc., enabling continuous monitoring of solutions and products for improved reliability and performance.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or related field.
  • 10+ years of proven experience as a Java Full Stack Developer.
  • Experience developing desktop and mobile applications.
  • Knowledge of multiple front-end languages and libraries like HTML/CSS, JavaScript, XML, jQuery.
  • Experience in JavaScript frameworks Angular, React, Node.js and multiple back-end languages like Java, Python.
  • Familiarity with databases MySQL, MongoDB, web servers (e.g. Apache, nginx) and UI/UX design.
  • Experience working in AWS/Azure cloud environment.
  • Adept at using AI Assistance tools during coding tasks.
  • Knowledge of REST and SOAP services.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and scrum teams.
  • Great attention to technical details in the project.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills.
