Senior Frontend Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Frontend Developer to join our team

About the Role

This is an exceptional opportunity for a skilled professional to utilize their expertise in building high-performance web applications using Angular. As part of our cross-functional team, you will work closely with designers, product managers, and engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Development: Create responsive, high-performance web applications using Angular, taking into account accessibility, usability, and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with our design and engineering teams to ensure alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Integration: Integrate UI components with Oracle or other relational databases via APIs and backend services, ensuring efficient data exchange.
  • API Integration: Develop and integrate with RESTful APIs for seamless communication between the UI and backend systems.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployment, ensuring smooth delivery of features.
  • Cloud Services: Leverage cloud services such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) or Microsoft Azure to support scalable infrastructure.
  • Version Control: Manage version control, branching, and code reviews using Git, ensuring collaborative development and quality assurance.
  • Jira Management: Track development tasks in Jira and contribute to sprint planning and agile ceremonies, ensuring aligned project goals.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in Angular development.
  • Strong understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript, and responsive design principles.
  • Experience with Oracle or other RDBMS and integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as AWS or Azure.
  • Proficiency in Git and familiarity with CI/CD tools.
  • Experience integrating RESTful APIs into Angular applications.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and task tracking tools.
PREFERRED SKILLS
  • Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful API integration best practices.
  • Familiarity with containerization.
  • Understanding of security and compliance requirements in financial applications.
