Job Title: Cost Accounting Manager

We are seeking a skilled Costing and Plant Finance Manager to oversee financial reporting, ensure accuracy, and maintain compliance with accounting standards. Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and presenting monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial statements and reports.
  • Maintaining compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
  • Managing SKU-wise reports.
  • Validating and reporting cost savings as required.
  • Monitoring and controlling plant expenditures, ensuring cost efficiency and optimization.
  • Analyzing cost structures and identifying areas for cost reduction.
  • Implementing cost control measures and tracking performance against cost targets.
  • Maintaining export turnover, profitability, and variance analysis.
  • Managing the export pricing master.
  • Performing gross margin variance analysis.
  • Conducting procurement price analysis and batch costing.
  • Preparing yield reports of the factory and TPU.
  • Preparing capacity utilization reports.
  • Coordinating completion of various reconciliations for cost audit.
  • Managing material procurement and processing.
  • Reviewing production orders posted at various locations.
  • Preparing variance by price and volume.
  • Preparing cost sheets using process costing.
  • Improving tracking costs and allocation of OHs using activity-based costing.
  • Performing inventory valuation and conducting periodical factory and warehouse audits.
  • Analyzing slow-moving inventory.

Required qualifications include:

  • ICWA qualified or semi-qualified/CMA semi-qualified with 5 years of experience in costing.
  • Experience in costing and plant accounting.
  • Proficiency in data handling and process handling.
  • Team handling experience.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office suite.
  • Detail-oriented and analytical.
