About the Role

Exusia, a global technology consulting company, seeks a skilled Financial Analyst to join its Global Finance Practice in Pune. The successful candidate will be responsible for optimizing finance and accounting verticals, working closely with the Head of Operations and senior leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post and process journal entries to ensure accurate financial records.
  • Execute global payroll and process monthly payroll journal entries.
  • Update accounts payable and perform bank reconciliations.
  • Verify balances in account books and rectify discrepancies.
  • Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements.
  • Perform daily/monthly/quarterly company compliance, including remittances.
  • Assist in preparing monthly/yearly closings.
  • Track and close GST, TDS, PF related activities and deliverables.
  • Optimize management reporting, information flow, and business process planning.
  • Liaise with employees, clients, and vendors on critical operational and finance matters.
  • Research and perform due diligence on show cause notices and assist the team on compliance requirements.
  • Track and report on key metrics to provide feedback on financial and operational efficacy of business decisions.

Requirements

Mandatory Skills

  • Proactive, self-starter with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Progressive experience and expertise in Core Accounting and FP&A.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably with a background in core finance and accounting practice.
  • Analytical, strategic, and innovative thinking capabilities.
  • Proven ability to distil critical information from complex data and communicate effectively with senior leadership.
  • Track record of success working independently with limited structure in dynamic work environments.
  • Practical and results-oriented, with excellent business acumen and an ownership mentality.
  • Flexible and adaptable to work times in global time zones as work demands.
  • Able to learn new skills and master changing responsibilities quickly.
  • Working experience with QuickBooks and Zoho Books is preferred.
