Job Description: As a seasoned data scientist, you will be responsible for leveraging sophisticated modeling techniques to build cutting-edge solutions in space edge computing.

This is a remote-first role that requires excellent communication skills to coordinate with global teams and external partners. You will work closely with engineering, product, and the CTO to design and implement state-of-the-art computer vision and ML models for satellite imagery.

Responsibilities include:

  • Proactively utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity across the data science lifecycle.
  • Designing and implementing innovative computer vision and ML models for satellite imagery.
  • Training and fine-tuning deep learning models for edge deployment, balancing performance with efficiency, power, and computational constraints.
  • Cross-functional collaboration with GIS engineers, software teams, and product managers to integrate ML solutions into a broader pipeline.
  • Staying ahead of emerging trends in Edge AI, ML, and remote sensing through innovation and research.

Requirements include a Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, 3–8 years of experience in data science, and strong technical skills in Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenCV, and general software engineering.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.

Experience: 3-8 years of experience in data science.
