Job Title: Data Architect Position

Overview

We are seeking a skilled Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of our Enterprise Data Platform. The successful candidate will have a strong technical background and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain the data engineering and analytics infrastructure for our Enterprise Data Platform using cloud-based tools.
  • Develop data models, algorithms, data pipelines, and insights to drive business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape the design and direction of the data platform.
  • Work end-to-end on data products, from problem understanding to developing data pipelines, dimensional data models, and visualizations.
  • Provide support and advice to business stakeholders on data preparation for predictive and prescriptive modeling.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience.
  • 5 years of experience in DW/BI development, reporting, and analytics roles, working with business stakeholders.
  • Advanced knowledge of Data Warehousing, SQL, ETL/ELT, dimensional modeling, and databases.
  • Hands-on experience with modern data stack tools, including cloud data warehouses, transformation tools, and cloud providers.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python, Unix, SQL, Scala, and Java for data extraction and exploration.
