Job Overview

The Junior Accountant will play a pivotal role in optimizing and streamlining financial operations with a focus on payables, receivables, and taxation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounts Payable (AP): Timely process and payment of vendor invoices, reconcile vendor statements, address discrepancies, and maintain professional relationships with suppliers.
  • Accounts Receivable (AR): Generate client invoices, ensure prompt collections, reconcile customer payments, and manage outstanding balances.
  • Taxation: Prepare and file statutory returns, stay updated with changes in tax laws, and ensure compliance.
  • Financial Reporting and Compliance: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy, and support internal audits.
  • Collaboration and Process Improvement: Optimize financial processes, implement best practices, provide advice on financial and tax-related matters, and enhance overall organizational efficiency.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (Tally, QuickBooks, SAP), advanced MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting, and familiarity with tax filing and compliance in India.
  • Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent organizational and multitasking skills, effective communication for interactions with stakeholders, and ability to work independently and as part of a team under tight deadlines.
