Job Title: Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer

This is a challenging role for an experienced Quality Assurance professional to design and execute test plans, validate large datasets, and ensure quality across cloud-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and reports to ensure seamless delivery of software applications.
  • Perform in-depth data-level validations including schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations to guarantee data accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate extensively with services like BigQuery to execute data validation tasks efficiently.
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries for testing large datasets to meet business requirements.
  • Automate test cases using services like Cloud Composer, BigQuery, and SQL to streamline the testing process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve the QA process.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to identify areas of improvement and implement effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Assurance or a related field with expertise in cloud platforms.
  • Detailed understanding of data validation concepts, including schema checks, completeness, integrity, and freshness validations.
  • Hands-on experience with services like BigQuery, and ability to write optimized SQL queries for large datasets.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
