Backend Software Architect

We are seeking a talented software architect to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for designing and developing scalable and secure backend systems.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in software engineering and a strong background in big data systems architecture. You should also have a proven track record of upleveling junior engineers and fostering an environment that creates high-quality code.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop scalable and secure backend systems
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define strategic roadmaps
  • Manage individual projects priorities, deadlines, and deliverables
  • Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
  • Write high-quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of customers

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering
  • Strong background in big data systems architecture
  • Proven track record of upleveling junior engineers
  • Experience working with finance and accounting teams
  • Knowledge of banking partners and bank statements

Nice to Have:

  • Experience working with Golang, gRPC, Docker, SnowFlake, Databricks, and advanced SQL
  • Experience working with Kyriba integration
  • Experience working with fintech domain
