This is a culinary role where you will be responsible for creating and preparing various pastry items according to provided recipes and photos.

• You will be assigned a station in the galley and may have opportunities to rotate through different tasks to gain experience.
• In this position, you will be responsible for producing pastries and desserts on a daily basis.
• Your shift assignments will vary based on operational needs.
• You will also be responsible for setting up pastry displays on buffets as needed.
• When assigned, you will assist with transporting food items from main stores to the galley.
• Cleanliness and sanitation are of utmost importance in this role. You must follow all necessary procedures and regulations at all times.
• Occasionally, you may be required to stand by early in the galley for specific purposes.
• You should be knowledgeable about our standard operating procedures and be prepared to assist guests and crew members with any inquiries.
• As a member of our team, you are expected to attend meetings, training activities, courses, and other work-related activities as required.

Requirements:

• A minimum of two years of experience working as a Pastry Cook in an upscale hotel, resort, cruise ship, or convention banqueting service is required.
• Familiarity with proper cleaning techniques and requirements is essential.
• High school or basic education equivalency is a requirement for this position.
