Job Title: Cloud Support Engineer

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement, manage and support cloud deployments, systems and services to ensure high levels of availability, redundancy and business continuity.
  • Work closely with automation tools and processes such as Azure Dev/Ops, continuous integration and automation of infrastructure components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional development/analytics teams to deploy and operate systems and help automate and streamline IT operations processes.
  • Act as a trusted security advisor in assigned verticals, participating in high-value customer engagement.
  • Build, deploy and manage Virtual Machines, PaaS services such as Analytics, and automation in the Azure Cloud environment.
  • Lead and act as an SME for Azure platforms (IaaS, Intune/Autopilot, etc.) within the IT operations team.
  • Create deployment guides, Standard operating procedures, and perform Knowledge transfers to other members in the team.
  • Perform backups, upgrading, performance tuning, monitoring, alerting, deployments, and disaster recovery within the Azure cloud environment.

Requirements:

  • Post-secondary education obtained by a community college or one or more professional designations.
  • Up to 7 years of experience in Server and Cloud Administration.
  • Microsoft Azure Certification is a MUST (AZ100 or AZ300 preferred).
  • VMWare Virtualization Certification is an Asset.
