We are looking for a highly skilled Front-End Development Expert to join our team at Autodesk Pune, India. As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch Web and Cloud software solutions.

About the Role

In this position, you will be responsible for developing high-quality, secure, reusable, maintainable, and stable code for use in products and solutions for customers. You will work closely with our Product Owner and/or Product Manager/Team to understand and refine functional requirements into excellent software components.

You will also be expected to proactively evaluate and address performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility issues related to our systems. Additionally, you will break down complex problems into smaller components and provide clear solutions for each piece. Design, analysis, and documentation of technical solutions are also key responsibilities, as is the establishment and upholding of best engineering practices through code and design reviews.

Furthermore, you will research external best practices and emerging technologies for possible incorporation into our company's products and methodologies. You will write clean, efficient code and debug any issues that may arise.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
  • 2+ years of experience as a hands-on front-end developer
  • 2+ years of experience with JavaScript and TypeScript and a clear understanding of basic web fundamentals such as prototype-based inheritance, scopes, Event Loop, Memory Management in JS, etc.
  • Hands-on understanding of latest paradigms in Frontend Development such as Pub-Sub Pattern, State Management, Service Workers, Web Components, Client Caching, Lazy Loading, Dynamic Injection, Bundle Optimization, Reactive Design, Microfrontends, Module Federation
  • Good exposure to writing UT's and designing UI components with testability in mind
Preferred Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience with frontend development technologies, such as React, Angular, Vue, Redux, State Management or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience in building progressive and hybrid mobile & web applications
  • Hands-on experience of CSS3 & HTML5
  • Hands-on to quick scripting in postman to test Rest API's
  • Hands-on experience with any one of Frontend automation framework like Cypress, Protractor, etc
