Lead Engineering Teams

Our company is looking for a leader who can foster innovation and collaboration within engineering teams. This role involves overseeing and mentoring team members, ensuring effective team structures and driving the hiring process to attract exceptional talent.

Key Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Talent Acquisition: Drive the hiring process for engineers in Bangalore, developing strategies to retain top talent in a competitive market.
  • Team Management: Oversee and mentor engineering teams, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while ensuring effective team structures.
  • Hands-on Development: Collaborate with Agile teams to develop and release roadmap requirements, with hands-on experience of developing software using C#/.Net Core.
  • Software Architectural Patterns: Lead the design and development of robust software solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural best practices and compliance standards.
  • Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring seamless integration into the team and alignment with our values and goals.
  • Operational Efficiency: Implement and refine engineering processes and best practices to boost productivity, streamline workflows and ensure teams have the tools they need.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with distributed teams to align engineering efforts with company objectives and facilitate cross-team communication.
  • Reporting and Communication: Provide regular updates to senior management on team performance, operational status and key milestones.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in engineering management or operations, ideally within a software development setting.
  • Proven expertise in C#/.Net Core, MVC, SQL Server and MongoDB.
  • Strong understanding of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile) and experience implementing operational best practices.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with ability to motivate, mentor and develop team members.
  • Flexibility to work with distributed teams across diverse cultures and time zones.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with knack for managing multiple priorities under pressure.
