Data Warehouse Specialist Job Description

Freelancer Recruiter is seeking a skilled Data Warehouse Specialist to design and develop robust data warehouses using best practices and data extraction and loading processes.

About the Role:

This role involves developing advanced reports, analytics, dashboards, and visualizations using Tableau, as well as working with IBM Cognos Business Intelligence tools to create interactive and informative reports.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop data warehouses using industry-standard methodologies.
  • Create detailed data models to ensure high-level data integrity.
  • Develop reports and analytics that meet business needs.
  • Work with various ETL tools such as Oracle Data Integrator and Informatica.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from an accredited institution.
  • 3+ years of experience with ETL tools (Oracle Data Integrator, IBM Cognos DataStage, Informatica).
  • 3+ years of experience with Tableau to develop advanced reports, analytics, dashboards, and visualizations.
  • Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills required.
  • Prior experience working in manufacturing industry, Oracle ERP, SAP HANA as source systems is an added advantage.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per annum
