Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the highest standards of safety, reliability, and performance in our elevator products and installation services.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for quality planning, inspection, audits, and root cause analysis throughout the manufacturing and installation lifecycle. Key responsibilities include:

  • Inspecting incoming materials, in-process components, and final elevator assemblies for quality compliance.
  • Monitoring quality metrics across production, installation, and service teams to ensure product reliability and customer satisfaction.
  • Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implementing Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) for quality issues.
  • Ensuring compliance with IS/EN standards and company-defined quality procedures.
  • Coordinating with vendors and suppliers to maintain quality of procured components and systems.
  • Preparing detailed inspection reports and maintaining records for audits and traceability.
  • Conducting internal audits and supporting external quality and safety audits (ISO, etc.).
  • Training and guiding teams on quality control tools and best practices.
  • Actively participating in design and product reviews for quality risk assessments.

To succeed in this role, you must have a Bachelor's Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering, and at least 24 years of experience in Quality Assurance/Control, preferably in the elevator or allied mechanical industry. You should also possess strong knowledge of quality tools, including the 7 QC Tools, FMEA, 5 Why, Control Plans, etc., and familiarity with elevator codes and safety norms (EN81, IS 14665, etc.). Additionally, you should have proficiency in documentation, report writing, and MS Office, as well as strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Preferred qualifications include ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor Certification and experience with elevator testing and commissioning.
