Job OverviewSenior Geographic Data Systems Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Senior Geographic Data Systems Specialist to join our team.

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and implement GIS solutions using Esri technology.
  • Maintain existing GIS systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve problems.
  • Develop and maintain enterprise geodatabases on Oracle Spatial 12c or MS SQL Server.
  • Design and implement GIS web applications using industry-standard technologies.
  • Maintain interface components between Esri and downstream systems through a middleware.
Requirements
  • At least 5-8 years of experience in the utility industry, especially in UK-based Gas Distribution business.
  • Thorough knowledge of Gas data model of UK Gas consortium and experience implementing Esri solution for Gas distribution clients from scratch.
  • Experience working in support roles handling requests for ArcGIS Desktop, AGOLS, and Mobile application.
  • Strong understanding of support life cycle models and SLAs.
  • Proficiency in ArcFM 10.2.1c for ArcGIS 10.2.1, including ArcFM extensions and Auto-updaters configuration.
  • Knowledge of ArcFM Geodatabase Framework to handle sessions post queue and user configuration & management.
  • Hands-on experience with LocatorHub Dashboard, LocatorHub Transformation Suite, ABP data load process on LocatorHub, and reconcile mechanism.
  • Experience developing and implementing Esri projects using Geoprocessing Model (GP) services and Python tools.
  • Strong knowledge of .net framework 4.0 and higher version, VS 2012, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, and Windows and scheduled services.
  • Thorough understanding of DoJo objects, JQuery 2.0, Javascript, HTML5, and CSS.
