Job Description
  • Company Overview: As a Cyber Security Specialist, you will be part of a team that is dedicated to protecting Vodafone's networks and systems from cyber threats.
  • Salary: The estimated salary for this role is ₹1,200,000 - ₹1,800,000 per annum, depending on experience.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Demonstrate a good understanding of procedures and advise technical operation teams on Cyber Security platforms across their full lifecycle;
    • Contribute to the transformation of Cyber Security capability, ongoing maintenance, and any security-related projects to ensure controls are effective;
    • Detect, identify, and respond to cyber events, threats, security risks, and vulnerabilities in line with Cyber Security policies and procedures;
    • Use communication skills to promote Cyber Defence best practices across the market;
    • Effectively interact with colleagues across Technology and in Corporate Security, Audit, and Risk;
    • Perform other job-related duties or tasks defined by the supervisor or resulting from assigned agendas.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A good understanding of established concepts and procedures in protecting Vodafone from security threats;
  • Experience in implementing security controls across Vodafone with a single design;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with colleagues across Technology and in Corporate Security, Audit, and Risk;
  • Able to detect, identify, and respond to cyber events, threats, security risks, and vulnerabilities in line with Cyber Security policies and procedures;
  • Familiarity with Cyber Security platforms and technologies;
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines.
