Job Summary:

Cortex Consultants is seeking a highly skilled full stack web developer to design, develop, test and deploy high-quality web applications using the MEAN stack.

Main Responsibilities:

  • We are looking for a developer who can collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and deliver solutions
  • The ideal candidate will have experience in developing reusable components and libraries for efficient development
  • Ongoing application performance and scalability optimization is a key responsibility of this role
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues is also an essential part of the job
  • Staying updated with the latest trends and technologies in the MEAN stack ecosystem is crucial

Requirements:

  • At least 2+ years of hands-on experience in full-stack web development using the MEAN stack
  • Strong proficiency in Angular (versions 7 and above) for front-end development, including component-based architecture, data binding, and routing
  • Experience with Node.js for server-side programming and API development, understanding of asynchronous programming concepts
  • In-depth knowledge of MongoDB for database management, including data modeling, querying, and optimization
  • Hands-on experience with Express.js for building web applications and RESTful APIs
  • Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and TypeScript
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git)
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure) is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
