Instructional Content Specialist

This is a full-time role based in Gandhinagar, India.

We are seeking an experienced Instructional Designer for a 6-month contract. The ideal candidate will have expertise in instructional design, online learning, video-based learning, mobile learning, and MS Office skills, especially MS PowerPoint.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Translate raw video footage into accessible and engaging series of videos that enhance the student's learning experience.
  2. Use visual mediums to convey ideas and enhance learning by creating visual representations of concepts, ensuring visual consistency and harmony in the videos, and giving due attention to learner engagement in this rapidly shortening attention span world.
  3. Check the quality of videos received from the video editors.
  4. Interact with teammates and extended teams (video editing partners) to create a top-quality product.
  5. Manage content, develop assets on the Learning Management System, develop Summary Deck based on video content, and review and edit Closed Caption text for all videos.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree
  • 2-3 years' experience in Instructional Designing in Higher Education or Corporate Education with any reputed e-learning content development company
  • Specialized knowledge in Instructional design, online learning, video-based learning, mobile learning, MS Office skills, and especially MS PowerPoint skills
  • Professional certification in Instructional design, video editing (a plus)
  • Experience working in agile methodology
  • Ability to grasp technical concepts and simplify them visually
  • Strong visualization and visual design skills
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills

  • Inclination towards understanding academic content that may be complex or technical in nature
