Job Opportunity

The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in designing low-power microelectronic systems, focusing on microarchitecture and RTL design for optimal performance and power reduction.

This includes expertise in synthesis, timing closure, and low-power estimation. The ability to optimize arithmetic units and floating-point datapath design is a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement efficient microarchitectures and RTL designs that minimize area and power consumption
  • Utilize advanced ASIC design tools such as VCS, Verdi, and Design Compiler
  • Apply knowledge of power estimation tools and scripting languages to streamline the design process
  • Contribute to hardware architecture exploration and performance modeling efforts
  • Develop skills in machine learning/artificial intelligence domain and/or DRAM memory controllers will be highly valued
  • Lint and CDC experience is crucial for ensuring design quality
Requirements:
  • At least 5 years of experience in RTL design
  • Proficient in Verilog and able to adapt to new technologies
