Job Role

The Software Quality Assurance Lead will oversee the quality assurance process during software development.

  • Manages a team of testers and works closely with developers to ensure that software products meet defined quality standards before release.
  • Creates test strategies, develops automation frameworks, monitors metrics, and coordinates with cross-functional teams.
Required Skills

Requires experience in software testing and QA leadership, including hands-on experience with automation frameworks.

  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency with automation and testing tools such as Selenium, Requests/Postman, TestRail, and BrowserStack.
  • Ability to develop automation frameworks using languages such as Python and BDD frameworks.
  • Experience using test management and bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git and Jenkins.
  • Strong analytical skills for identifying defects, tracking metrics, and interpreting big-data testing results.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and collaborate across functions.
Key Responsibilities

Includes defining test scope and plans, setting testing metrics and managing test effort, managing and mentoring the QA team, selecting and optimizing test tools and frameworks, developing automation frameworks, monitoring test execution and progress, collaborating with stakeholders, identifying and mitigating risks, and encouraging continuous improvement and team engagement.
