English Language Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled English language specialist to fill a vacant position.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of large language models and excellent English proficiency, as evidenced by a high score on the Versant Test.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

  • Excellent Command of English Grammar, Syntax, and Vocabulary
  • Strong Editing and Proofreading Skills
  • Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS)
  • Effective Communication and Interpersonal Skills
  • Cultural Sensitivity and Awareness

This position involves reviewing and editing English language content for grammar, punctuation, style, and tone. It also requires collaboration with content creators, annotators, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality across all communications.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing the quality of LLM outputs, identifying errors or inconsistencies, and providing detailed feedback using established rubrics. They will also develop and implement language guidelines and best practices, providing cultural insights to ensure content resonates with target audiences.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Communications, or a related field.
  • Native or near-native proficiency in English.
  • Proven experience in content creation, annotation, editing, or a similar role.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to linguistic accuracy.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Review and edit English language content for grammar, punctuation, style, and tone.
  2. Collaborate with content creators, annotators, and other stakeholders to ensure consistency and quality across all communications.
  3. Assess the quality of LLM outputs, identifying errors or inconsistencies, and provide detailed feedback using established rubrics.
  4. Develop and implement language guidelines and best practices.
  5. Provide cultural insights to ensure content resonates with target audiences.
