Test Automation Engineer Position

The role of Test Automation Engineer is a critical component in the development and delivery of high-quality software solutions.

This position involves designing, developing, and executing automation test scripts to ensure that the developed software meets the required specifications and standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements from business
  • Develop thorough understanding of business, infrastructure, system architecture, design, internal and external interfaces and use cases
  • Design and develop scalable and reusable test automation frameworks for UI, API, performance, and integration testing using Selenium with Cucumber
  • Log project-related issues in the defect tracking tool identified for the project
  • Contribute to the development of frameworks and methodologies
  • Implement Agile Methodology and ensure alignment with Jira and Confluence
  • Develop, execute, and analyze automation test scripts
  • Prepare and maintain effective Test Data and Test Metrics
  • Analyze test results and prepare comprehensive test reports
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on related skills
  • Ensure team members understand requirements and translate them into test cases and test execution

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in automating cloud-based multi-tier architecture applications
  • Strong knowledge of designing and implementing automation frameworks using Selenium with Cucumber
  • Proficient in Performance and load testing
  • Excellent programming/scripting skills in Java, Python, JavaScript
  • Good understanding of CI/CD processes using Jenkins, GIT, and BITBUCKET
  • Familiarity with TestNG, TDD Framework, and IntelliJ
  • Experience in System Testing, API with Postman, and ability to create test plans

ISTQB certification is highly valued
