As a Software Quality Test Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and execute test plans that meet the highest standards of quality.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including development, product management, and customer success, to understand product requirements, identify potential risks, and develop effective testing strategies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, quality assurance, and software development, with excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Experience with Agile methodologies and automation testing tools is highly desirable.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure high-quality software releases.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and prioritize testing efforts.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks and scripts to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall testing process.
  • Identify and document defects, provide actionable feedback to developers, and track issues to resolution.

Requirements:

At least 5 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance with web-based applications, mobile applications, and client-server applications.

Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and automation testing tools.

Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop effective testing strategies.

Experience with Java programming language and associated tools (e.g., IDEs, build frameworks, source code control).

Basic understanding of Unix and Shell scripting basics.

Good time management and prioritization skills.

Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
