Senior QA Automation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software/web application testing, with expertise in automation tools such as Cypress and Selenium.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automated test suites using Cypress and Selenium
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize testing needs
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks and tools
  • Identify and report defects and anomalies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 6+ years of relevant experience in software/web application testing
  • At least 3 years of experience in agile environments
  • Strong hands-on coding skills in JavaScript/Cypress
  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript/Java/Python
  • Hands-on experience with UI automation tools: Selenium (Ruby), Cypress, Playwright
  • Deep understanding of JavaScript, CSS, web standards
  • REST API testing experience
  • Experience configuring and extending Jenkins with custom plugins
  • Knowledge of enterprise automation (parallelism, distribution)
  • Familiar with client-side MVC frameworks
  • Server-side development exposure (preferably ASP.NET)
  • Technical expertise in RDBMS, ideally SQL Server
