Modeling and Coordination Expert

As a modeling and coordination expert, you will support the Discipline Lead and Production Team(s) in day-to-day implementation activities.

  • Provide regular progress updates to the Discipline Lead.
  • Maintain records of all formal correspondences.
  • Support hardware/software deployment and deliver training to the project team.
  • Develop and update object libraries and quality templates per organizational standards.
  • Ensure quality and compliance of all submissions through regular QA/QC checks.
  • Validate models for accuracy, export data for design and commercial use, and perform clash detection.
  • Prepare reports and models for value engineering and constructability analysis.

Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with policies, including ethics, safety, and ISO standards.

Qualifications: Experienced modeler with skills in modeling Track works, rail utilities, drainage modeling and experience in multi-disciplinary workflows and understanding of 3D coordination process.

  • 5-10 years experience in BIM Tools.
  • Experience within Design or Construction on infrastructure projects.
  • Experience within 3D Modeling and Drafting, BIM Modeling/Coordination with Utilities Design experience.
  • Knowledge of multi-disciplinary workflows and understanding of 3D coordination process.
  • Proficient in a range of authoring, scripting, design review, coordination, simulations and collaboration applications.
  • Possess the ability to develop analytical reports and presentations.

Preferred Skills: Experience within Design or Construction on infrastructure projects. Knowledge of multi-disciplinary workflows and understanding of 3D coordination process.
