  • Perform regular backup testing and DR drills
  • Work with DevOps pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Tekton, and ArgoCD
  • Diagnose and resolve complex cloud and database issues, ensuring minimal downtime
  • Uphold SLA
  • Work closely with development teams to streamline software delivery and operations
  • Automate routine tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues, providing effective solutions and workarounds
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers
  • Participate in architecture reviews and contribute to strategic planning
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in System Engineering

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
  • 6 years of experience in AWS cloud infrastructure and database management
  • Expertise in AWS services: EC2 S3 RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, Route 53 etc.
  • Strong experience with relational (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (DynamoDB, MongoDB) databases
  • Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus
  • Familiarity with logging and monitoring tools like ELK Stack, Datadog, or New Relic
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Kubernetes Administrator) are a plus
