Chief Reinsurance Underwriter

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned underwriting professional to lead our reinsurance team, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of underwriting support services.

• Evaluate and analyze treaty reinsurance contracts across multiple lines of business to identify key risks and opportunities for strategic growth.

• Interpret treaty terms, conditions, and pricing structures to assess profitability and make informed decisions that align with business objectives.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless execution of underwriting activities and meet agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).

• Ensure adherence to underwriting authority guidelines, internal controls, and compliance requirements to maintain a high level of integrity and transparency.

Key Qualifications:

A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the reinsurance and treaty industry, with a strong background in underwriting is essential for this role.

A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field such as risk management, finance, or economics is also required.
