Job Title: Structural Design Engineer

Job Overview:
  • We are seeking an experienced Structural Design Engineer to join our team in the oil and gas industry.
  • This is a challenging role that requires a strong background in structural engineering, with a focus on design and analysis of complex structures.
Responsibilities:
  • Design Engineering: Perform basic and detail design engineering activities for assigned projects, adhering to company procedures and industry standards.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate with other disciplines, user departments, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Bid Estimation: Estimate and engineer work related to bids, ensuring accurate cost estimates and timely completion.
Requirements:
  • Education: Hold a Bachelor/Master's Degree in Civil and Structural Engineering.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in STAAD Pro, ETABS, SAP, and STAAD Foundation. Familiarity with FEM-based connection design tools like Ideastatica.
  • Software Proficiency: Working knowledge of AutoCAD and 3D tools such as Tekla Structure, Navisworks, SPR.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Hands-on Experience: Hands-on experience in structural steel/concrete design detailing for Process/non-Process buildings, machine foundations, pipe racks, factory buildings, etc.
  • Codes and Standards: Familiarity with international codes and standards is an asset.
  • Quality Assurance: Responsible for quality checks, assurance of reviewed drawings.
