As a Financial Modelling Manager, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the global energy landscape.

Job Overview

This dynamic opportunity is designed to drive financial modelling excellence, supporting growth into new markets and technologies.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models for solar PV and energy storage projects, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  • Evaluate RFPs, incorporating relevant assumptions and structuring them into our bidding process.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including development, project financing, finance, EPC, and others, to populate models with accurate assumptions and structure.
  • Support development, EPC, and financing teams in running case studies and scenarios to optimize economic benefits and identify key drivers.
  • Assist model auditors in their review process, as required.
  • Work closely with lenders during the project finance process, providing model support as needed.
  • Take ownership of financial models, guiding the bidding team on all matters related to financial modelling.
  • Maintain and update financial models pre- and post-financial close.
  • Create engaging presentations on financial analysis.
  • Train and supervise junior modelers, promoting knowledge sharing and skills development.
  • Perform other tasks assigned by senior executives, driving business objectives forward.

Key Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or accounting from a reputable institution.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in building, developing, and running project finance-based financial models.
  • At least 4-5 years of financial modelling experience in solar/renewable projects.
  • Proven execution capability, strong passion for financial modelling, and a can-do attitude.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment, engaging in cross-functional collaboration.
