Technical Staff Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled technical staff engineer to join our team within the integration platform zone. This role is focused on building enterprise-grade cloud applications and services, with an emphasis on complex integrations, large-scale stability, and payer-provider interoperability.

Our vision is to enable value-based care and improve payer/partner-provider collaboration by developing a scalable integration platform that surfaces insights on patient health conditions and enhances provider workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy high-quality, scalable, and secure applications/services hosted on cloud platforms.
  • Build and maintain integration systems capable of handling billions of transactions per day.
  • Write and maintain unit tests, perform peer code reviews, and ensure continuous improvement in code quality.
  • Proactively identify performance bottlenecks and propose alternative solutions.
  • Implement and adhere to SDLC best practices, architectural patterns, and DevSecOps-driven delivery.
  • Contribute to the definition of done within Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine business requirements and deliver robust technical solutions.
  • Take ownership of features/services, ensuring end-to-end accountability from design to production support.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 24 years in software development roles.
  • Strong programming expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
  • Proficiency in REST API development and SQL.
  • Solid understanding of Agile software development methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of software engineering principles (SDLC, CI/CD, DevSecOps).
