Test Engineer Position

We are looking for a skilled test engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering automated tests in core technologies and creating test documentation.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of commercial experience with manual and automation testing, as well as 3 years of experience in test automation. They will also have experience working with Cypress.io and/or Playwright.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver automated tests in core technologies
  • Create test documentation
  • Define test scope for the tested area and identify risk
  • Define and improve QA processes
  • Provide support to other team members
  • Lead and input into technical discussions

Requirements:

  • Minimum 6 years of commercial experience with manual and automation testing
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in test automation
  • Experience working with Cypress.io and/or Playwright
  • Good knowledge of at least one JavaScript programming language
  • Excellent understanding of testing techniques and strong experience with manual testing
  • Some experience in non-functional testing
  • Knowledge of good practices in testing and ability to apply them
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical people
  • Experience in API testing using Postman
  • Ability to mentor and guide more junior testers
  • Hands-on experience with databases/advanced Excel is a big plus
  • Experience working with large datasets or large customer base is a big plus
  • Root cause analysis
  • Test reporting
  • Knowledge of CI/CD setup, SQL databases, monitoring services, test design, programming languages, test planning, and QA strategy
  • Knowledge of Python, Java is an added advantage
