Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and processing company expenses, ensuring timely and accurate payments, verifying invoices, and conducting account reconciliations.

This role requires someone who is meticulous in their work, has excellent organizational skills, and is able to maintain accurate financial records.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately process, verify, and post vendor invoices, adhering to company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Compare system reports to balances, verify, and resolve discrepancies in financial entries.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements, accounting standards, and best practices in accounts payable.
  • Verify vendor accounts, facilitate timely payments, and resolve any payment discrepancies or disputes.
  • Reconcile account transactions with the general ledger on a regular basis.
  • Maintain organized and accurate records, including preparing and reviewing GST & TDS reports.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes related to accounts payable.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable or a similar finance role.
  3. Proficiency in accounting and business management software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books).
  4. Strong knowledge of accounts payable principles, accounting standards, and industry regulations.
  5. Extensive experience with account reconciliation processes.
  6. Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  7. Effective collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.

Salary Range:

Based on industry standards and location, the estimated salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $80,000 per annum.
