Senior Cybersecurity Consultant Role

In this challenging role, you will be part of a highly skilled team delivering cybersecurity services to clients worldwide.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in manual security code reviews and a strong understanding of web applications, cryptography, operating systems, and security technologies.

You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into project workflows and provide mentorship to junior staff members.

To succeed in this position, you should possess a Master's degree in computer science or a related field and have 4-10 years of post-qualification experience.

Relevant certifications such as GWAPT, OSCP, or CRTP are highly valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform manual application penetration tests on web applications, internal applications, APIs, and mobile applications.
  • Conduct research for new vulnerabilities in systems and software and modify tools, exploits, POCs, and scripts to meet operational requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest attack techniques, tools, and emerging threats.
  • Present technical reports to clients, explaining test outcomes and providing detailed insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with developers, IT operations, and business stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of security best practices into project workflows.
  • Provide guidance to junior security staff and foster a culture of proactive security awareness within the organization.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong working knowledge of manual security code reviews.
  • Master's degree in computer science or a related field.
  • 4-10 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Relevant certifications such as GWAPT, OSCP, or CRTP.
