Software Architect
Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Software Architect to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing and developing Android mobile applications.

About the Role
  • This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, product, and data teams, to deliver high-quality user experiences.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for advancing our architecture and Mobile Product, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems.

Responsibilities
  • Designing and developing complex software systems, including mobile apps.
  • Collaborating with engineers, product managers, and designers to iterate features and improve products.
  • Improving and maintaining CI/CD infrastructure and pipelines.
  • Providing high-level tooling support to team engineers.
  • Driving solutions to reduce costs and time to market.
  • Coordinating end-to-end application delivery, including production deployment.
  • Monitoring application health and KPIs, supporting triage of production issues.
  • Troubleshooting complex data, feature, service, and platform issues.
  • Advocating security best practices and championing security within engineering.
  • Providing technical guidance and mentoring to fellow engineers.

Requirements
  • 10+ years of software development experience, with at least 7+ years in designing/developing Android mobile applications.
  • Experience with modern Android development frameworks, such as Jetpack Compose and Kotlin.
  • Strong desire to build in test from the start, with TDD development experience.
  • Continuous delivery experience in mobile, code review, static analysis, continuous integration, automation, and functional testing.
