Automotive Expertise: A Critical Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Specialist to fill a critical position at our organization. As an Automotive Specialist, you will be responsible for creating comprehensive diagnostic content for all automotive systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze vehicle communication bus logs using various analyzers.
  • Design and create workflow or test sequences using integrated development environments like BDX or Grade-X.
  • Evaluate original equipment manufacturer (OEM) diagnostic data, derive useful insights, and implement the same in target testers.
  • Perform on-vehicle validation of implemented diagnostic content and create detailed test reports.
  • Benchmark and reverse-engineer aftersales and aftermarket diagnostic testers.
  • Coverage evaluation of aftermarket testers by performing tests on various vehicle brands and systems, in multiple markets.
  • Review deliverables and provide recommendations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, including subsystems and components.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicles and make them roadworthy.
  • Ability to understand OEM system descriptions, service, and repair manuals.
  • Ability to independently operate diagnostic testers.
  • Good understanding of wiring diagrams and conventions.
  • Solid grasp of Controller Area Network (CAN), CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939.
