Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Transport Planner to oversee the design and drafting of transport projects in the Middle East.

This is a key role that requires strong technical expertise, commercial acumen, and excellent communication skills.

The ideal candidate will have experience in transport planning, road design, master planning, development planning, and parking studies, as well as a solid understanding of international codes and standards.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective transport plans for Middle East projects, ensuring technical excellence and commercial success.
  • Provide design input to ensure compliance with international codes and optimisation of spatial planning.
  • Ensure accurate and high-quality design and drawing production, delivered within deadlines.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  • Manage multiple projects with minimal supervision, ensuring consistency and efficiency in delivery.
  • Support BIM adoption and integration within the design and drafting process.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Civil Engineering or CAD Draughtsmanship, or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 6 years' experience in CAD drafting, with a focus on transport planning, parking design, traffic engineering, and highway engineering.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, AutoTurn, and related CAD software.
  • Experience with BIM (Building Information Modelling) preferred.
  • Knowledge of international transport planning and road design standards and procedures.
  • Solid understanding of building codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and high accuracy in drafting and design.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills in English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
