We are seeking an expert in data architecture to lead the design and implementation of our global data ecosystem.

Job Requirements
  • Data Architecture Expertise: 10+ years of experience designing and implementing large-scale data solutions, with expertise in AWS Cloud & Big Data.
  • Data Modeling & Warehousing: Proficient in data modeling, warehousing, and big data platforms.
  • Programming Skills: Strong programming skills in Python or Scala/Java for ETL/ELT scripting, solid SQL skills for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Analytics & AI Orientation: Experience working with analytics and AI-oriented tools and technologies.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Proven leadership and collaboration skills, with ability to guide teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  1. Data Platform Development: Lead the development of our cloud-based data platform on AWS, including design, implementation, and maintenance.
  2. Big Data Integration: Oversee the ingestion of large-scale datasets from various sources, optimize processing using Spark, and integrate legacy Hadoop-based data into our AWS environment.
  3. Data Governance: Embed data governance into our architecture, implement data cataloging, lineage tracking, and governance policies, ensuring compliance with data privacy and security standards.
  4. Innovation & Thought Leadership: Stay abreast of emerging trends in data architecture, big data, and AI, evaluate and recommend new technologies or approaches.
