Reservoir Characterization Leader

The role of Senior Lead Petrophysicist is a high-profile position within the oil and gas industry that demands advanced skills and expertise. As a seasoned professional, you will lead petrophysical evaluations across exploration, appraisal, and development wells to ensure top-quality data acquisition and accurate reservoir characterization.

• Take charge of all petrophysical activities for exploration, appraisal, and development wells.
• Develop and oversee logging programs, including tool selection and real-time monitoring.
• Conduct thorough formation evaluation and integrate results into comprehensive subsurface models and documentation.
• Provide expert decision support during drilling operations by attending rig site operations in real-time.
• Coverage of coring program and associated laboratory studies to guarantee exceptional deliverables.
• Perform field quality control of logging operations and ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide valuable insights and optimize data acquisition strategies.
• Integrate petrophysical data with core study results and offer inputs for seismic interpretation and geological modeling.

• A Master's degree or higher in Geophysics from a recognized institution.
• At least 15+ years of experience in Petrophysics within the oil & gas industry.
• Willingness to travel offshore for rig site operations and field quality control.
• A proven track record in offshore exploration, appraisal, and development projects.

• Proficiency in industry-standard petrophysical software.
• In-depth knowledge of logging tools and acquisition systems.
• Skilled in advanced interpretation techniques.
• Experience working with complex reservoir types.
