Job Opportunity: Automation Engineer

As a seasoned automation engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our software products. Our organization is seeking three skilled professionals to join our team as automation engineers.

This role offers a unique opportunity for professional growth and development in a dynamic and challenging environment. The selected candidates will be responsible for detecting software bugs early in the development lifecycle and collaborating closely with development teams to promote continuous alignment.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure that software bugs are identified and addressed promptly, facilitating seamless collaboration between development teams.
  • Develop and implement automated tests for diverse testing scenarios across various country instances.
  • Continuously enhance the coverage of automation tests to support early detection of bugs and risks.
  • Closely work with country distribution and core domain squads to ensure software quality goals are met.
  • Propose and drive the implementation of process improvements aligned with our continuous improvement strategy.
  • Mastery of required tools and components necessary for assigned tasks.
  • Adherence to software development best practices and methodologies adopted by the company.
  • Production of relevant documentation and guidelines to support the quality-as-everyone's-responsibility approach.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Extensive experience in automated testing, with at least 7 years of hands-on experience.
  • Proficiency in at least one software development language.
  • Experience with Selenium, Cucumber, or similar technologies.
  • Expertise in building automated test suites for build/regression testing.
  • Experience with Jenkins, CircleCI, Bamboo, or similar tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in building Load/Stress Tests using JMeter, Blazemeter, Apache Benchmark, or similar tools.
  • Experience working in a continuous integration/deployment environment.
  • Experience building tests in the context of microservice/SOA architecture.
  • Experience testing interfaces and APIs using SOAP-UI, Rest-Assured, or similar tools.
