Senior/Staff Platform Software Engineer

We are looking to fill a challenging remote, full-time Senior/Staff Platform Software Engineer position that will focus on designing and developing robust back-end SaaS applications with high throughput and low latency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Build high-performance software for mission-critical processes with precision and attention to detail.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain core components of the Continuous Platform with a focus on scalability and reliability.
  • End-to-end development of new features and functionality with a user-centric approach.
  • Debug and troubleshoot complex production issues with analytical skills and problem-solving techniques.
  • Participate in design and code reviews to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and generate innovative ideas with effective communication and leadership skills.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • At least 10 years of work experience in product engineering with a strong foundation in computer science principles.
  • Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Computer Science or related field with a strong academic record.
  • Hands-on experience working with distributed systems and high-throughput data pipelines with expertise in Kotlin or Java programming languages.
  • Strong knowledge of Kafka and Spring Boot frameworks with the ability to apply them in real-world scenarios.
  • Outstanding problem-solving, analytical, design and debugging skills with the ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
  • Experience with AWS Cloud Infrastructure with hands-on experience in deployment and management.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members.
  • Experience with common dev ops tools and methodologies is a plus.
