Enterprise Data Architect Role

This strategic position involves managing client business data assets according to their enterprise data strategy. You will analyze requirements, apply logical thinking, and deliver innovative database solutions driving business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shape the client's enterprise data strategy aligning with long-term goals.
  • Lead data architecture and solution design ensuring scalability, security, and performance.
  • Apply expertise in data warehouse design including dimensional modeling, data vault, star schema, and snowflake schema.
  • Design and implement data integration solutions using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and Informatica with Snowflake for seamless data movement and transformation.
  • Refine designs, provide clear justifications, and create data models using Visio, Erwin, or similar tools.
  • Develop mapping documents, collaborate with ETL and testing teams, and interact with enterprise architects, business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive multiple initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring quality and timeliness.
  • Enhance organizational decision-making by surfacing data priorities and maximizing value derived from analytics.
  • Conduct business data modeling and enable enterprise data management practices.
  • Ensure security, integrity, and performance of data assets, focusing on improving data hub performance.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years focused on information systems design or data architecture.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing information solutions and database structures.
  • Strong expertise in IICS (Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services) and hands-on experience implementing Informatica with Snowflake for enterprise-scale solutions.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills, with experience working across cultures, coaching teams, and driving high performance.
  • Hands-on experience in implementing data and analytics management programs is preferred.
  • Ability to analyze project/program/portfolio needs and determine required resources while overcoming cross-functional challenges.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
