Oracle Fusion SCM Expert

Our organization seeks a seasoned Oracle Fusion SCM professional to excel in implementing and supporting Oracle Fusion SCM modules, emphasizing a deep understanding of business processes and technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implementation & Support:
  • Oversee or contribute to comprehensive implementation of Oracle Fusion SCM modules, encompassing Procurement, Order Management, Inventory Management, Planning, Manufacturing, Costing, and more.
  • Provide post-go-live support and troubleshooting, collaborating with Oracle support for issue resolution.
  • Business Process Mapping:
  • Understand client business operations and map them to Oracle SCM Cloud functionalities, identifying gaps and proposing solutions using Oracle best practices.
  • Configuration & Customization:
  • Configure SCM modules based on business requirements, collaborating with technical teams for custom reports, interfaces, and extensions.
  • Testing & Documentation:
  • Conduct unit testing, system integration testing, and support UAT, documenting configurations, test cases, and user guides.
  • Client Interaction & Consulting:
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, participating in workshops, demos, and training sessions, handling client communications and managing expectations.
  • Project Management:
  • Manage timelines, deliverables, and risks, coordinating with cross-functional teams during project lifecycle phases.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Experience:
  • A minimum of 5+ years in Oracle ERP consulting, with at least 4 end-to-end implementations.
  • 5+ years overall experience in ERP or SCM domain.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong hands-on experience in at least two Fusion SCM modules, with understanding of integration between SCM and other ERP modules.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Excellent communication and client-handling skills, ability to work independently and lead small teams.
  • Willingness to travel for short/long-term onsite assignments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field.
  • Domain/industry experience in manufacturing, retail, or logistics is beneficial.
  • Certifications in Oracle Cloud SCM modules are advantageous.
