Electrical Control System Engineer Job

Tecnicas Reunidas is a leading international general contractor engaged in the engineering and construction of industrial facilities in various sectors, including Oil & Gas, Petrochemicals, Power Generation, Energy Transition, Infrastructures, and more.

This role involves working with professionals who have relevant design experience in these industry sectors and possess good knowledge of electrical control systems, communication protocols, architecture diagrams, and IEC61850 standards.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and developing technical specifications, data sheets, and bid evaluations for electrical equipment and materials. They should also have experience with FEED and Detail Engineering within power and oil and gas projects.

Responsibilities
  • Design and develop electrical control systems.
  • Prepare and review technical specifications and data sheets.
  • Create I/O lists and requisition for inquiry and purchase.
  • Collaborate with other technical disciplines involved in the project.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years of relevant engineering experience in the Oil & Gas, Refinery, and Petrochemical sectors.
  • Good knowledge of electrical control systems, communication protocols, architecture diagrams, and IEC61850 standards.
  • Excellent English language skills - listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
