Job Description

We're seeking a seasoned Backend Development Leader to spearhead our full stack development initiatives. This individual will be responsible for architecting scalable solutions, driving technical excellence across projects, and mentoring a team of engineers.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in leading backend development using Laravel and modern PHP frameworks. They will also be skilled in system integrations via REST APIs, GraphQL, EDI, and third-party services.

  • Lead the development of high-performance applications using Laravel and modern PHP frameworks
  • Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable systems to meet business requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive end-to-end delivery and ensure performance optimization
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • 5-7 years of backend development experience in PHP, with deep expertise in Laravel
  • Experience working with Magento, WordPress, and Shopify platforms
  • Strong background in system integrations using APIs (REST, GraphQL), EDI, and webhooks
  • Proficiency in:
  • PHP, Laravel, Java
  • ReactJS, Node.js
  • MySQL, NoSQL, MongoDB
  • CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and version control (Git)
  • Cloud platforms, especially AWS
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and excellent team collaboration skills
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
