Data Visualization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Data Visualization Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our data analytics group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing data models to support data integration, transformation, and analytics.

  • Develop effective data visualization solutions that provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and develop tailored solutions.
  • Design and implement data models to support business requirements, using tools such as Erwin.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources and integrate them into Databricks.
  • Develop ETL/ELT pipelines to extract, transform, and load data efficiently.
  • Optimize data storage, processing, and performance in Databricks.
  • Create and maintain documentation for data models, pipelines, and architectures.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in data modeling/data engineering.
  • Strong expertise in Databricks, Delta Lake, Apache Spark, and advanced queries.
  • Experience with SQL, Python for data manipulation.
  • Knowledge of ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline development.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in an agile environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with large-scale data systems and streaming data.
  • Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) tools and reporting frameworks.
  • Experience in finance domain will be preferable.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus.
